Arthur C. 'Art' Holden age 71, of Cridersville passed away at 2:11 a.m., Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Kindred Hospital. He was born March 1, 1946 in Lima to the late Charles Perklin and Anne Marie Gilmor Holden. He married Delores Kay Wallace and she survives in Cridersville.
Art had worked for Shawnee Schools as a custodian for many years. He loved playing jokes on the grandkids and had an onery streak. He enjoyed music of all types, gardening,
fishing and mostly being with family.
Additional survivors include 3 daughters: Vickie Lynn (Dave) Matthieu of Bradford, Christina Ann (Shawn) Parlette of Lima and Pamela Sue Kahle of Cridersville, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a sister Carolyn Kay (Charles'Don') O'Black.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Amy and a sister Natalie Ann Crum.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 7 at Shawnee Cemetery with Pastor Keith Wilson.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with medical cost.
