Cathy L. Mason, age 67, of Cridersville passed away at 11:05 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 14, 1949 in Lima, Ohio to the late Elvin Burke 'Bud' Feister and Selma Elaine Plummer Feister who resides in Wapakoneta. She married Gene Alvin Mason on August 19, 1989 who preceded her in death.

Cathy has served the community for 30 years working at Cheif Super Market on Cable Road. She was a member of the U.F.C.W. Union and was an avid animal advocate and an OSU fan. She loved to sparkle and left a sparkle wherever she went. She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed making everyone laugh. She enjoyed basking in the sun and going to the Hollywood Casino. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She was the best mom and grammy anyone could ask for.

Survivors also include 2 daughters: Angela (Jeff) VanHorn of Cridersville, and Lisa (Fred) Creech of Wapakoneta. Grandchildren; Matthew (Maria) Creech, Tyler (Caitlin) Creech, Haley Creech and Courtney VanHorn, Great Grandchildren; Matthew Creech, Jordan Creech, Maddilyn Creech and Braylynn Creech, Siblings; Judy (Ted) Baker of St. Marys, Jerry 'Butch' (Kay) Feister of Wapakoneta and Sally (Doug) Ruen of Wapakoneta, Special people in her life; Roy and Myrna Mason of Arlington, Ohio, 2 BFF's; Donnia Gould and Esther Miller and her four-legged best friend 'Oreo'.

Preceded in death by a sister Carol 'Susie' Flanagan.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery, near Cridersville.
