David A. Urban, age 74 of Lima, died at 12:45 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Edward A. and Mary M. Traxler Urban. On July 18, 1975 he married Sherry K. Wilson, who survives in Lima.

Mr. Urban was a Kirby Distributor for many years winning numerous awards and recognition. After his retirement with Kirby, he was an office manager for Beltway Glass. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Cleveland Browns and Indians. He loved to golf.

Also surviving is a son - Dale Urban of Indianapolis, IN; 3 daughters - Darla (Todd) Wenner of Carey; Diane Urban of Delphos; Sheri Holloway of Garland, TX; a step son - Keith (Donna) Paul of Wapakoneta; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers - John Urban of Lima; Daniel (Cindy) Urban of Key West, FL; 1 sister - Sandra Hutton of Absecon, NJ

Funeral services will begin 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Don Smith will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Humane Society or Deb's Dogs.
