Surrounded by her loved ones, Dee Staup, 75, of Lima passed away at 11:20 AM on Saturday, May 06, 2017, after a brief stay at the St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Unit.
She was born on February 8, 1942 in Wapakoneta, Ohio, to Harold White and Marjorie White Mahlmeister, who both preceded her in death. She had previously been married to Thomas (Tom) Staup, who passed away on September 30, 2008.
Dee had attended Lima City Schools. She had worked most of her career for Clyde Evans, and her last position was as Office Manager in the corporate office.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Kent) Kahn of Lima and Patricia (Carl Brigner) Young of Columbus, Ohio; son, Thomas (Bobbi Daigle) Staup of Lima; twelve grandchildren, Alisia (Todd) Numbers, Jaime (Dana) Collins, Shallene (Danielle Bowman) Staup, Lindsay (Bill Vargo) Kahn-Vargo, Zachary (Jana) Young, Jessica (Greg) Sorrell, Melinda (John Bechtold) Staup, Alayna (Nate Lloyd) Young, Jacob Brigner, Henry Daigle, Julia Daigle, Natasha (Larry Fuqua) Staup; and eighteen great-grandchildren, Brayden, Taryn, Kaylee, Rilen, Layne, Aleister, Evalynn, Alexis, Paul, Luke, Haley, Abigail, Ethan, Leo, Jaxson, Jayden, Serena, Addie
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with The Rev. Dr. Timothy White officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the 12:00 PM services.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
