Jeffrey A. Yost, age 58, of Wapakoneta, passed away early Monday on Jan. 15th, 2018, at his residence. He was born Feb. 23rd, 1959 in Lima, to Doyle R. and Elizabeth A. (Miller) Yost. His Father preceded him in death. His Mother and Stepfather, Ambert Scott, survive in Wapak. Additional Survivors include his Daughter, Angela C. Brissey of Lima, his Son, Jeffrey A. (Jessica) Yost, II of Zanesfield, his two Grandsons (Sons of Angela), Aaron A. and Gabriel A. Corder of Lima, his Sister, Diane R. (Gerald) Miller of Wapak, his Aunt, Susan Hoffman of Wapak, his two Nieces, Elizabeth M. Miller of Lima and Catherine A. Miller of Wapak and his Great Niece, Cynthia L. Miller (Daughter of Elizabeth).
Mr. Yost was a Graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School and later taught and attended School, to receive his Applied Science & Business Bachelors Degree from the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH). He attended Victory Chapel of Praise in Roundhead and was a Member of the Wapakoneta Eagles, where he enjoyed playing Poker. He also looked forward to a good game of Chess and Risk. He was Self-Employed, working in Heating & Air Conditioning for 35 years. He was the HVAC Instructor at the American School of Technology in Columbus, at UNOH in Lima, at the Piqua Vocational School and most recently, at the Apollo Career Center in Lima.
The Family will receive Friends from 4:00-7:00PM, Friday, Jan. 19th at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Memorial Service will follow at 7:00PM with Pastor David Schneer Officiating. A Private Burial will be held at a later date in Fairmount Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the Family.
