Joseph M. Cope, age 31 of Cridersville, died Saturday morning, June 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 25, 1986 in Lima, Ohio; to Mike E. and Margaret A. Mullins Cope. His mother survives in Cridersville. He is preceded in death by his father Mike on March 29, 2014 and his sister - Amanda M. Cope on June 29, 2013.

Joe was a laborer through Spherion. He loved his family dearly, enjoyed working on cars and riding his four wheeler.

Survivors also include his significant other - Katie Anderson of Cridersville; a step sister - Christina Cope of MI; a niece - Serenity N. Cope of Cridersville; 2 nephews - Espn Wolfe and Bentley Wolfe of Wapakoneta; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will begin 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Steven C. Holbrook will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
