Marjorie Lucille Cornwell age 89, of Lima passed away Wednesday Jan. 18, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1927 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Lilly and Luther Griest. She married E. Eugene Cornwell who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 2015.
Margie graduated from Middletown High School and was a member of Shawnee United Methodist Church. She had been a mother and a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter: Linda (Steve) Hoover of Pataskala, OH and a son: Ted (Linda) Cornwell of Lima, Ohio 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister Leah May Wideman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Gene Cornwell, a twin sister Margaret Nickell, sister Louanna Richardson and a brother Howard Griest.
Per her wishes, there will be no public visitation of service.
