Mark Douglas Jordan, age 52 of Lima, died at 12:17 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was born September 11, 1964 in Lima, Ohio to Harold 'Kadel' and Della Bowsher Jordan. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Russells Point. He married Vicki Cameron who has been his partner since 2003 and she survives in Lima.
Mark was an electrician with Sidney Electric and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local Union 32. He attended Only Believe Ministries. Most of his youth was spent at the Dixie Roller Rink and later in life he ran the rink. He enjoyed competitive skating, speed skating, and dance skating. He was a NASCAR and Ohio State Buckeye fan. Nothing topped his family, spending time with them and having cookouts.
Survivors also include his 7 children - Les (Kristy) Shumate; Jenni (Eric Lawrence) Shumate; D. Nicole Shumate, Christian (Amanda) Shumate, Shawna (Michael) Bridge, Terri A. (Robert Kalthoff) Shumate, and Kevin Kirk; 8 grandchildren - Logan, Dakota, Trinity Bunger; Adalyn and Aiden Kalthoff; Joe, Ian, Abagail Jones; a brother - Harold Kadel (Crystall Platt) Jordan, Jr. of Russells Point.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, and noon until time of services Saturday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Bayliff & Son Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Center, Columbus.
