Maryella 'Squirt' Boughan, age 81 of Lima, died at 12:45 a.m., Monday, December 25, 2017 at Lima Memorial Health Care System. She was born February 11, 1936 in Lima, Ohio to the late John L. and Emma Marie Servis Murphy. On July 11, 1954 she married Dorman Charles Boughan, who preceded her on April 2, 2001.

Mrs. Boughan was multi talented and a 'Jack of all trades'. She was a Perry Commodor and a Shawnee High School graduate. She began working in a laundry, became a realtor, farmed, was a bookkeeper, and a member of the Farm Bureau. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Lafayette where she was very active within the church. She loved to travel with her husband and they would spread the word of the Lord on their trips. She loved life, and would open her home to others, was a wonderful gardener, loved to square dance and mow the yards. Her greatest accomplishment and treasure was her family, whom she loved dearly.

Survivors include 3 sons - Charles M. Boughan of Lima; John W. Boughan of Harrod; Troy L. (Tammy) Boughan of Columbus Grove; a daughter - Toni M. (Doug) Cochrane of Lima; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a sister - Ruth Stiles of Harrod.

She was preceded in death by a son - Rock Alan Boughan, a daughter-in-law - Sandra Boughan; a brother - Bill Murphy; and a sister - Patricia Ann Johnson.

Funeral services will begin 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lafayette. Rev. Robin Ramos will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 27th at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville and from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Lafayette.
