Patricia Ann 'Pat' Johnson, age 86 of Lima, died at 6:55 a.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born February 8, 1931 in Lima, Ohio to the late John L. and Marie Servis Murphy. On October 18, 1952 she married Louis "Louie" Johnson, who preceded her in death April 16, 2016.

Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker who enjoyed helping on the farm, working in the garden, doing crafts, baking, sewing, and riding her bicycle. After attending Perry School she went on to graduate from Shawnee High School. She had worked at the Lima Ordinance as a off-set press operator where she met Louie. She was a 4-H advisor participating at the county fair winning several ribbons, and was a very active woman volunteering at Lima Memorial Hospital for over 20 years and 6,000 hours, and delivering mobile meals. She liked attending Forest Park United Methodist Church with her daughter-in-law and listening to country music and playing her piano.

She is survived by a son - Joe (Diana) Johnson of Lima; a daughter - Sue (Dan) Roediger of Wapakoneta; 3 grandchildren - Temeni (Scott) Luchini of Harrod; Soda Pop Johnson of Lima; River Johnson of Lima; a great grandson - Kamden Roediger of Harrod; 2 sisters - Ruth Stiles of Harrod, Maryella 'Squirt' Boughan of Lafayette; 2 sister-in-laws - Margaret Murphy of Waynesfield; Anita Temenoff of St. Mary's; 8 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother - Bill Murphy and 2 nephews.

Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Dottie Kiser will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Breast Cancer Research.
