Selma E. Feister age 93, of Wapakoneta passed away 1:02 p.m., Thursday at Lima Memorial. She was born August 22, 1923 in Ada, Ohio to the late Ernest and Echo Miller Plummer. She married Elvin Burke 'Bud' Feister Oct. 16, 1944 and he preceded her in death May 7, 2011.
Selma was a member of Shekinah Temple in St. Mary's where she played the organ and had a card ministry. She enjoyed playing the slot machines and cards, spending time with her family and cooking. Homemade noodles were her specialty. She loved helping people and animals.
Survivors include children: Jerry 'Butch' (Kay) Feister of Wapak, Rev. Judy (Joseph Ted) Baker of St. Mary's and Sally (Doug) Ruen of Wapak and numerous grandchildren, great and great great grand children.
She was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Carol Sue Flanagan and Cathy Mason and 3 sons-in-law: Tony Ball, Gene Mason and Larry Flanagan.
The family will receive friends 2- 6 p.m., Sunday, April 9 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Warren officiating and burial will follow in Salem Cemetery near Westminster.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cridersville Fire and Rescue Department.
