Shannan Lee Hughes age 34, of Englewood passed away Feb. 8, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 30, 1982 in Lima to Everett Lee and Marie Ann Mertz Hughes.
Shannan graduated from Shawnee High School, attended Antioch College and had been a route driver for Domino's Pizza. She was an avid reader and creative writer. She loved animals and nature. She was a member of Orioles Lodge.
Survivors include her mother Marie Ann Mertz Hughes, father & step mother Everett Lee and Mary Hughes, a brother Shane (Michele) Hughes of Spencerville, 2 sisters: Lisa (Gary) Waltz of Harrod and Gina Hooks of San Diego, CA, a step brother Erik (Michele) Branhan of Findlay and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at Bayliff &Son Funeral Home, Cridersville from 4 to 6 p.m. and a memorial service will follow at 6 with Rev. Casey Irwin officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Allen County Humane Society.
