Susie Redick, age 85, of Lima, passed away 9:28 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 following a fall. She was born Oct. 8, 1931 in Lima to the late Smilie Clement and Azuba Beatrice Blodgett Wolfe. She married Norman Ray Redick Aug. 30, 1953 and he survives in Lima.
Susie was the owner of the Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio for 27 years and a former member of Shawnee United Methodist Church and attended Rousculp Church of Christ. She graduated from Cridersville High School in 1949 and was a former member of the Koneta Chapter 385, Order of Eastern Star.
Additional survivors include children: Mark T. Redick of Canal Winchester, OH, Jill R. (Jim) Bourdage of Carmel, IN and Matt B. (Lora) Redick of Lima; siblings: Ellen 'Sis' Lowry of Lima, Smilie Wolfe of Wapak, Gretchen Ritchie of Wapak, Nancy Beemer of Cridersville and Martha Logan of St. Mary's a sister-in-law Marge Wolfe of Valley View, OH and 8 grandchildren: April Redick, Tyler Redick, Erica Bourdage, Alexa Bourdage, Aaron (Leanne) Bourdage, Joel Redick, Morgan Redick and Maegan (Kaleb) Rexrode.
Susie was preceded in death by a son: Paul A. Redick, a brother: Freidan Wolfe, sisters: Azuba 'Babe' Meffley and Harriet Neu and a half-sister and half-brother, brother-in-laws Gordon 'Bud' Meffley, Reid Neu, Francis Lowry and Noel Ritchie.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday Dec. 23, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Pastor Kenny Rader officiating and burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Salvation Army and online condolences may be shared at
