Dorothy Ann McGlone, age 81, of Lima died 1:44 p. m., Wed. Feb. 1, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born April 30, 1930 in Scioto County, Portsmouth Ohio to Warren and Jessie (Wiget) Schuler. She married Hubert Jackson McGlone June 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death
Mrs. McGlone graduated from Portsmouth Clay High School in 1948 and had been a sales clerk at J C Penney for 22 years. She enjoyed going to Casinos, watching and feeding squirrels in her backyard. She also enjoyed working outside and keeping her flower gardens.
Survivors include 3 children: Barbara (Robert) Lohr of Kansas City, MO, Kenneth McGlone of Lima and Dennis (Michelle) McGlone of Florence, KY, 3 granddaughters: Brittney Hammons, Caitlyn McGlone and Kimberly Allen, 3 great grandsons: Christian Allen, Brady Allen and Jace Hammons; 2 sisters: Darlene Goad of Portsmouth and Shirley (Lester) Brafford of Minford, a sister in law Barbara Schuler of Portsmouth.
She was preceded in death by a brother George Schuler.
Memorial service will begin 11:00 a.m., Sat. Feb. 4 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Pastor Russell Wilke, III officiating. A gathering will follow the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
