James Robert Nusbaum

James Robert 'Jim' Nusbaum, age 62 of Cridersville, died at 1:39 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Lima Memorial Health Care Systems. He was born August 13, 1949 in Lima, Ohio; the son of Robert N. Nusbaum and Helen E. Carter Nusbaum Altstaetter. Both parents are deceased.

Mr. Nusbaum was a retired painter. With his work he was able to travel around the United States, which he enjoyed. He loved playing cards and always appreciated a good joke.

Survivors include 3 sisters – Linda (Fred) Howell of Cridersville; Kay (Richard) Milliner of Lake Mary, FL; and Amy (James) Hall of Gahanna, Ohio; 3 nieces – Beth (Tony) Malcolm, Jessica (Matt) Brice, Allison Milliner, a nephew – Jake Hall; 2 step nieces – Tina (Rick) Mathewson and Susie (Don) Dailey; several great and great great nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step father – Myron Alstaetter; a nephew – John Milliner.

Memorial services will begin 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Jim Hall will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Huntsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
